My QR code goes to the wrong page. How do I fix it?

If your QR code is editable (a dynamic code), you fix the wrong destination by repointing it from your dashboard, with no reprint. If it's a static code, the URL is baked into the image and the only fix is to generate and reprint a new one.

It depends entirely on which kind of code you printed. A dynamic code points at a redirect you control, so a wrong destination is a 10-second edit: open your dashboard, change the link, save, and every printed copy now lands in the right place. A static code has the URL encoded directly into the pattern, so there's nothing to edit, and you reprint.

If the link itself looks right but the page errors out or bounces around, the destination may have a redirect loop; point the code straight at the final page rather than at another redirector.

Step by step

  1. Open your dashboard

Go to Your codes and find the code that's pointing to the wrong place.

  2. Edit the destination

Click the pencil icon labelled Edit destination and paste the correct URL.

  3. Save

Save it; the printed code now resolves to the new destination for everyone, with no reprint.
