Landing page
A landing page is the web page a visitor reaches after clicking a link or scanning a code, the first thing they see, built to match the source's promise.
The landing page is where a scan ends up. A good one matches what the code promised: scan a menu code, land on the menu, not the homepage. The closer the page matches the moment, the more likely the scan turns into the action you wanted.
Landing pages get moved, renamed, and replaced constantly. With an editable redirect you point the code at whatever the right landing page is today and change it whenever the page does, so a printed code never strands a scanner on a dead URL.
