UTM parameters
UTM parameters are tags added to the end of a URL (like utm_source and utm_campaign) that let analytics tools attribute a visit to a specific campaign.
A UTM-tagged URL looks like example.com/?utm_source=flyer&utm_campaign=spring. The tags don't change the page; they ride along so your web analytics can report where a visitor came from. They're the standard way to tell which flyer, sign, or email drove a click.
UTMs and a redirect work well together: point the QR's redirect at a UTM-tagged URL and you get campaign attribution in your own analytics on top of TangoQR's scan counts. Because the destination is editable, you can fix or update the UTMs after printing without touching the code.
